Kick-Ass Action
I'll admit, I'm a zombie fan. This film's premise reminded me of one of the "night of the living dead" comic books that came out a while back. an infected passenger gets aboard a flight, which, when it lands, disgorges all of the now flesh-hungry passengers on an unsuspecting London. in this case, we get to see what happens in-between, while they're still in the air. lots of running, screaming, chomping and that great zombie hiss we all know so well. it's well-done, suspenseful and delightfully gory. for me, anyway, it blew "snakes on a plane" right out of the water. it was obviously done on a small budget, but there's not too much sign of that on-screen. the best bits: the zombie nun, and the hole that somehow gets ripped open between the cabin and the lower deck. i lost count of the number of people being dragged screaming into & then jumping out of that hole. nice twisty sort of ending, too. acting so-so, makeup FX above average. recommended highly.

Do you want to see a action movie in the real life?? Here you have!
Well, i don't know if this movie is gonna be exported or not, maybe yes 'cause some titles is in English, but this is a must seen movie! This is a action movie showing everything occurs in the Rio de Janeiro's police. War, corruption, fears, i think this must be the Brazilian movie of the year!
Let's talk about the history: Captain of BOPE (Special Police Operations Batallion in Portuguese) after some time fighting against organized crime in the slums wants to quit but before he must find a substitute.
The only ones that can do the test to goes BOPE are Military Policemen. Captain soon see that he have 2 good men in hands (they are infancy friends), 1 have heart and the other intelligence, but the substitute must have the 2 attributes.
The movie have about 110 minutes and keep your eyes on the screen from the beginning to end (a lot of shoot out), and title in English is Elite Squad.
Well i'll stop from here, but again, this is a must seen movie if you want to see a action movie in the real life, because we here in Rio de Janeiro live this, we see this, this is our war that is bit worse other wars.

A DIFFIDENT WORK WHICH AVOIDS ITS MAJOR PREMISE.
This action/adventure tale is set in an imaginary Latin American republic amid a background of espionage involving the CIA and the United States Congress, in which its hero, Peter Caine (John Coleman), A.K.A. "The Stalker", characterized in the language of his enemies as the most venomous and robotic of agents, is revealed as an oddly restrained operative more concerned with survival than with demonstrating his hunting tactics. Caine is attached to a Senate-supported anti-narcotics mission which is exterminated during a meeting by a group of masked terrorists, with only Peter a survivor, albeit wounded, after which he prepares for a purported task of revenge, but a frequently occurring series of flashbacks demonstrates that the super agent has apparently not freed himself from a large body of personal devils. The promised requital is woefully slow in coming in this predictable production, cumbered as it is by a weakly episodic structure that gives rise to a sense of inadequacy about Caine, not helped by Coleman's unfashioned performance in his first credited role, nor by the strong presence of Martin Kove as his best friend, a seeming casting gaffe since Kove would have been far more believable as the lead. This is nothing more than a highly cliched adventure film offering only a mild feeling of adventure, fundamentally no character development or perceptible point of view, and a remarkably unoriginal score, although the sound crew is top-flight here, with the camerawork and the brightly surreal sets having interest in this generally dull picture filmed in Portugal.
